General information
Textile chemistry, dyeing and finishing is an outstanding discipline in Hebei University of Science and Technology. It was granted to offer Bachelor degree of Engineering from 1981 and Master degree of Science and Engineering from 2002. It was the only one program who produces post graduates of textile chemistry, dyeing and finishing in Hebei Province.
Labs occupy 1200 m2 and more than 20 sets of sophisticated equipments are provided.
Role and purpose
The aim of the specialism is to produce competent professionals for the fabric finishing context including fabric functional finishing, fabric dyeing and fabric printing. It supplies the graduates with sound knowledge of fabric finishing and production processes; who are able to apply the knowledge in product development, process innovation, and production management. These professionals will play an active role for the development of textile industry locally.
