General information
The school was granted to offer Master degree of Science and Engineering in 2002. It’s the only one program who produces post graduates in Hebei province. She has one Hebei key discipline of textile engineering and one Hebei research center of textile and apparel. It has a staff member of 5 professors and 10 associate professors. Many professors at home or abroad are invited to give lectures in this discipline.
It has an area of 3000 m2 of labs and more than 200 sets of equipments/ machines are provided.
Role and purpose
The aim of the specialism is to produce post graduates who have sound knowledge of textile production process, who are able to apply the knowledge within a technical context; who have the potential to become industrial leaders in product development, process innovation, and production management in textile engineering. Graduates will find employment as textile technologist, production controllers, and quality assurance and control personnel.
