Fashion draping is one of the two major methods of clothing structure design. The clothing structure can be created directly according to the idea of designer in the human body model. Fashion draping has the advantages of flexible operation, good sense of three-dimensional, and it is often alternated with the plane cutting and complemented each other.
Fashion draping is a professional basic course of clothing engineering. Its task is making a intuitive and three-dimensional exhibit of the clothing style, structure, proportion using three-dimensional cutting mode. It emphasizes the combination of cutting skills and creative ability. It can increase the designer's creative means, train aesthetic ability, improve the knowledge structure, and rich the learner's design quality. It makes the students have more knowledge. Fashion Trends Forecast is an elective curriculum for the students of Fashion Design. The course is one of main courses for students who are majoring in fashion design and engineering or fashion design. The course is practical and technical. 1. ROLE AND PURPOSE
Clothing production process file is used to guide production, reduce costs, improve efficiency, and ensure the quality of the garment technical. It is the theoretical basis of industrialization garment production. Clothing technology was system introduced in this course, including six parts; they are product introduction, preparation procedure, cutting regulations, sewing procedure, finishing packaging regulations, product quality requirements and cost accounting. Its purpose is to make students skilled use of garment CAD for the design of clothing production process documents. Its task is to the student should be familiar with garment CAD, drawing tools such as Photoshop, in combination with the practical production situation of enterprises, to produce a set of process scientific, practical and normative documents. Advanced Placement courses include the clothing structure design, Sewing Basics, skirt technology, industrial push plate, the clothing CAD, garment production process and management etc.
2. LEARNING OUTCOMES
1) Design more than 3 sets series of products for production of mapping.
2) Use the garment CAD to complete the pattern design, pattern decomposition and Pattern Grading process production of documents.
3) Draw markers.
4) Graphically explain the measurement parts, specifications, tolerances and specific measurement method.
5) Writing the seam of the key processes description and sewing requirements.
6) Accurate accounting the raw materials used.
