Hebei University of Science & Technology & Sungshin Women's University, Korea Present: "Chang Chang Zhe Hua"
On the morning of May 18, the graduate design works showcase for the Fashion & Apparel Design majors of Hebei University of Science & Technology and Sungshin Women's University, Korea, was successfully held at Workshop No. 1 in Beijing's 798·751 Art District as part of the 2025 China International College Students Fashion Week. The event was attended by Hebei University of Science and Technology President Li Tiejun, Vice President Zhao Geng, and Sungshin Women's University President Lee Seong-geun.

The showcase, titled "Chang Chang Zhe Hua," draws its name from the Classic of Poetry (Shijing), where the phrase depicts a timeless scene of lush, splendid blossoms—a concept that continues to inspire modern fashion. The collection merges tradition and contemporary vision, structured by Eastern aesthetics and driven by a philosophy of sustainability. Developed collaboratively between the two universities and supported by industry partnership, the works represent innovative apparel that honors cultural heritage while embracing a forward-looking sensibility.

The presentation unfolded in three chapters: "Tracing the New," "Layers of Transformation," and "Fusion of Boundaries." It was jointly planned and produced by faculty and students from both institutions' Fashion & Apparel Design, Fashion & Apparel Design (Sino-Korean Cooperative Program), and Fashion Modeling & Performance majors. A total of 75 looks were presented, featuring outstanding graduate collections from both universities as well as children's wear developed through university-industry collaboration. The works highlight the program's signature "integration of art and engineering," closely combining artistic creativity with technical execution, and design innovation with market awareness. Emphasis was placed on new fabric functionalities, novel technical applications, and the fusion of innovative materials with craftsmanship and color, achieving a harmonious blend of aesthetic appeal and sartorial expression.
